Hi I am replacing my lawn in my front yard (780sqft) and there are a couple of workers who are doing the job. It around 6 to 10 hrs job (they are still working). I am planning to tip to workers $20 each, is that fine?
Thanks
Kedhar
they will appreciate the tip. probably not expecting it…

Sounds generous to me because I never tip yard workers.

Tipping is not required but I am sure they would appreciate it very much. Twenty dollars should be fine. It is neither stingy nor extravagant.
If it is hot out the offer of a cold beverage would be nice too.

I think that is ok. Could you manage $25? I always tip guys who work for us. Yard workers did a one-time job for us, shoring up a fence, and I tipped them and they said – "We’ll work for you anytime!" I think it pays to tip, word gets around, workers are happy to work for you.
